2008 Elantra Shock absorber access
 

My first post so I 'll start with a simple one.. Just successfully and easily replaced front strut assembly. Before I move on to the rear shocks, none of the tutorials/instructions I've looked at state whether I need to remove rear seat to access any bolts. Can I get the old one off just loosening the nuts under the wheel well? Any other advice also appreciated.

I can't answer your question regarding the rear shock upper mounts, but I can make a suggestion regarding the work done on the front struts and that is you need to have the front end alignment done ,, because parts have been moved and are no longer in alignment. The penalty for not having it done could involve handling, and tire wear. Maybe you already were aware of this, then just a reminder.
