2008 Veracruz Intermittently Won't Start

My 2008 Veracruz with 243,000 miles has been flawless until just recently. The car has always started without hesitation. Then it would occasionally start and then turn off, but restart normally. Within the last few days, it would turn over normally, but wouldn't start. Not wanting to run the battery down, I would try again later and it starts up perfectly. The frequency of the turning over without starting is increasing. I do not have a "CHECK ENGINE" light nor are their any error codes. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Ron

What I would do,
At the time it will not start, remove one spark plug. If it is wet, we see it is getting fuel.
If dry no fuel, determine why not.

Now if wet why? No spark to ignite the fuel, Now pursue why no spark.
So you see, we need to know which condition we have and go from there.

Ron[Dear Hanky, thank you for the advice to trouble-shoot the problem. I'll proceed with checking the plug for fuel. Best regards, Ron
