It fits on the front lower radiator support where is seen , the wiring connector is there but the sensor is not. It’s not the temp sensor.

Hey Guys I have a sort of silly question.
Is the vehicle having some kind of problem that steered us to this area or is it just something we happened to notice.
Sometimes , and we all have seen this at one time or another, wires and plugs are present and not connected to anything because that option may not be on this vehicle.
Your answer should help, what do you think?

A lot of harnesses are for multiple applications to save on production costs. When reffering to the radiator support are you talking the cooling fan side or the condenser side (looking through the bumper)? From your description my guess would be in front of the condenser. A missing ambient temp sensor would cause the check engine light to come on. Yes that sensor can cause an engine light. So if it's not on, it didn't come with one
