design question
Hello,
New Santa Cruz (2024)purchased recently, found numerous holes in the vehicle bed on the perimiter of the underbed storage compartment. These holes are open to the road elements, not good. What is the purpose of thes holes? Could Hyundai provide plugs for these holes to prevent incursion of water, dirt, sand and salt?
This is not a well thought out design regardless of its purpose.
Thank you

I find it hard to believe that these holes are for draniage. I might be able to accept one or two holes but fifteen? Also being exposed to the elements from the outside I would think that more water, sand, dirt and salt would end up in the bed of the truck through these holes.
Would like to see Hyundai supply plugs for these holes as I like to keep my vehicles prestine.
