Hello all... it's been a year since I've posted! I wonder if I still have my moderator superpowers. Part of the reason I haven't been active is that I got a different set of wheels. I still have the Elantra, but drive it a lot less than I used to. Instead, I've been riding these. You might say I've gone green!

Because I'm riding my bikes so much, I should get the full 5 years out of the Hyundai bumper-to-bumper warranty. The Elantra is 4 years old this week, so I did go ahead and get the timing belt replaced on Friday, along with a few other small maintenance items. I have one more year on the warranty and almost 9000 miles left on it. For the amount of driving I've been doing, I think the warranty will last a whole year.

Question Sonata Antenna Came Off

Hi Paul,

New to the site so this could be the wrong place to seek fellow sufferers.

Recently took my new 2017 Sonata through the car wash and the sharkfin-like antenna cover came off. The screw holes had obviously been stripped. I have owned at least six Sonatas and have never had this happen. Anyone else experience this?

This is probably the wrong place to ask this question, but can someone please tell me how to delete my profile? I no longer own a Hyundai and cleaning up my sites.
Thanks,
Steve
