Hi All:

I got a 2005 Elantra GT with a manual tranny and about 100k. I live in New York City, bordering on Bronx. This car is great for the money, and I haven't seen one cleaner than mine. I wax it religiously every week, and plan to do as much work on it myself as i can. I am impressed with the ride, the handling is superb and high-speed turns almost feel German.

I don't have a garage so I guess I am a weekend mechanic! Next I hope could change the front brake pads myself...

 

Waxing too much can be just as bad as not waxing at all. Once every other month is more than enough.
