hi there, I just picked up a 2001 Hyundai Accent Gsi. It was a good price, but a little high on the mileage (170k kilometers). Very well maintained though, from what I could tell... probably used as a long-distance commuter-- almost no wear on the leather shift ****.
Hopefully these forums can help me with technical knowledge and tips.
Cars I've owned previous to this:
1982 Toyota Corolla-- recently spontaneously combusted in my parking garage, hence the new Hyundai
2000 Mazda Miata-- loved this car, still love it. Very easy to drive waaaay too fast, had to sell for insurance reasons (drove it waaay too fast)
1994 Mazda Mx-6-- drove for approx. 1 year. A bit of a lemon, though a nice looking one. Cost way to much in maintenance.
1988ish Dodge Colt-- first car, hand me down from my sister. Got me through college just fine.

How do you like the accent so far? My husband has a 2000, which we bought used and <*knocks on wood*> it's been riding great.

no pics yet. It's silver with tinted windows, but otherwise completely stock.
