I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that I purchased from Cooksville Hyundai and its the worst piece of sh!t that I've ever owned. My drivers side seat heater doesn't work anymore - light will come on for a split second, and then shut off. Apparantly is the seat heater element that needs to be replaced. $600-$900 fix at the dealer.

My sunroof doesn't close properly - an ongoing problem that I had to bring to the dealer 3 times since I got the car.

My car leaks water whenever it rains (not related to the sunroof issue) . It literally seaps through the roof interior of the car - right over the sun visor on the passenger side. If it rains heavily overnight, it will build up somewhere in the roof of the car dripping frequently leaving water stains on the seat. Once I start driving and make my first right turn, the drips turn into flowing water. There was about a litre of water that came out the last time it rained heavily. Now I need to keep a towel wedged between my sun visor and the roof to absorb the water from dripping all over my seats.

Best part.....my warranty expired at 100,000 km. I'm at 106,000 - so everything that I want to repair would be out of pocket and not covered.

I will never, EVER buy a Hyundai again. Their exterior looks is the only thing that has improved over the last few years. On the inside, they're still the same pieces of junk as they have always been.

My next car will be a Mitsubishi. 10-year warranty. Can't beat that.

So you bought a 4 year old, used Hyundai with 100,000+ km and the problems it has it's Hyundai's fault? I think the problem is with YOU and your ability to check out a used car. Don't blame the company if the previous owner didn't take care if the car.

And Mitsubishi doesn't offer a 10 year warranty, especially not on a used car.

Don't let the door hit ya where God split ya.
