new '10 ET
Just bought a '10 ET. So far so good. I really like the car. I traded in an older Focus which was ok on the design, but not so good on reliability.
Just one question about something I missed during my research phase before buying... Has Hyundai addressed the root causes of the corrosion issues they were having on various earlier models? It seems the 84 month perforation/corrosion warranty suggests they have. I live in an area where road salt (and now that extra corrosive slurry) is used for ~4 months out of the year. My practice has always been to hose the salt off when I get home. I intend to keep doing that with the ET. So far, I like the car. It's responsive, quiet, and tight. Thanks for any info. |
no one has an answer to my corrosion question?
