Hi All,

So this is my first forum :)

and here is my story. I bought a 2007 Sonata Sept 23, 2009. It was the first "nice" car I ever owned. It was awesome, I feel in love with Sonatas. On October 4, 2010, I was driving home on the expressway and another car lost control of his car and hit me on my back driver side door. Which caused me to spin out and I hit the concrete barrier between East and West bound lanes. So not only was my back door messed up, the whole front end was ruined. I took it to a shop and a few days later I received the call that it was totaled. :( The damage was over $8000.

Time to buy a new car. I started looking around and considered buying the new Madza 2. It was in my price range but was bare... too much of a downgrade.

So I went back to the dealership that I bought my 2007 and the salesmen showed me a beautiful slate blue Sonata. I was sold. When I test drove it he thought is was a 2009 and turns out its 2010. It is used but I actually paid less for the 2010 than I did my 2007. Which was awesome. I gained features I really like, the color (inside and out) is nicer and the dash is the new design which looks better. I have free xm for now, and I can hook my ipod to the radio. However I did lose some... no more power seat, no more range to tell me how many miles I can drive on the gas left in the tank, no more steering wheel radio controls. Overall, I'm happier with the 2010.

But I really miss the radio controls. I believe I can install it myself but don't know much about it... this is why I am here. :) I know forums are a great for sharing info and I'm hoping that someone here has done it and can tell me what to expect. And possibly learn about other mods I can do.
