New with Tiburon question
My son is considering buying a 2004 Tiburon GT. It has a 6 speed manual trans, 36000 miles and a lot of extras and add-ons, for around $10,000. My question is, is it worth it due to all the clutch problems these cars seem to be having?
Thanks for any thoughts or advice. Greg in Florida |
RE: New with Tiburon question
Most of the clutch complaints I've heard are from 2003 Tibs.

RE: New with Tiburon question
it actually sounds like a pretty good deal. I did a www.kbb.com Kelly blue book and it was about 15,000 depending on what your vehicle has on it. Sounds pretty good, considering its only 3 years old. Good luck.

RE: New with Tiburon question
I just bought an 03 as well. After a ton of research, the 03 was the only year with the clutch concerns.
Mine has a little over 60k. Clutch replaced at 28k. The reason for the faulty clutches was a major manufacturing error on behalf of hyundai. His 2004 should be fine for quite a while. |
