From a TL to a GenCoupe
just got my white 3.8 Track w/ Navi in 6MT last saturday
original plan was to pick up a black 3.8 but they were out! next container was the 23rd so i couldn't wait. got a white one since they had it. =]
before i begin.. this is what i drove around..
2003 Acura 3.2TL non Type-S with navi in black with tan interior.
here's my timeline of it.
It all started with...
Stock when I first received it as a gift from my dad. Slowly and I seriously mean slowly progressed with a debadge(took off the 3.2TL on the right)
then sometime in end of HS.. i added Injen cold air.. LOL
Spring of '07
moved to Arizona to study at ASU for a bit.. and then came back due to some stuff.... and started the modding.
First few mods.. in order.. then XS-P headers. 04-06 TL stock wheels, blacked out the headlights, Eibach Prokit springs, with some switchbacks and all that fun junk..
Few weeks later, got my OEM front and side lip kit and WingsWest rear lip that came a littler later around Father's Day of '08. also 18x8.5 +30 Volk LE37. Some visors and a little JDM flavor...
Background Story: I was desparate to fix my hood from having some major paint cracks. I attempted to rattle can my hood and it came out to be... FAIL. lol
Ditched the Volk LE37 and I revolked with 19x8.5 +46 GT-V. Changed out my INSPIRE front grill to the Saber front grill. Also redid my headlights since I didn't find any love for the fully blacked out headlight. I think I also did the foglight mod around this time.
Sometime while having these wheels, I got my exhaust. ATLP ftw. =]

Few weeks down the road.. decided to ditch the Volks and try out something new after blowing a tire on a freeway ramp. Picked up the Locksmice Mesh in 18x8 +27(I added 10mm spacer) 18x9 +35.
Blew the tire on these suckers as well.. lol
Then.... finally.... got myself some Function&Form Type-I coilovers and tires for the locksmice.. Then got myself a new hood and installed some puddle lights myself and bunch of other little small things... lol
Changed back to my Inspire grill before selling the Locksmice. Few days later, I picked up a set of SSR Agle Premiums.
19x8.5 +43 19x9.5 +38
Then while I was attempting to wheel *****.. I picked up a few part and swapped out my tiny IM/TB for the Type-S IM/TB and so forth...
2 weeks later of having the SSR, found an awesome deal for the Racinghart C4 in 18x8.5 18x9.5
After having some few problems come up.. i decided to put my TL back to stock and sell it.
anyways.. lol..
