WTB: A few parts for an 08 Entourage. Headlight Socket, Intake tube...

Hey there! The following is a list of things I need for my 2008 Hyundai Entourage:
  • Blinker/headlight socket
  • Intake tube from air filter to the throttle body.
  • Both front lower ball joints (trying to avoid eBay specials)
  • Mildly interested in whatever modifications can be done to the Enty...

I didn't mod my 2006 Kia Sedona EX much. I replaced the wood-grain trim with the faux brushed steel trim:

About the only other more was add Hella horns to replace the wimpy horn most Asian cars come with. I've done that to every Hyundai/Kia I've owned.

Traded the Sedona in a year ago for a used 2008 Kia Rondo EX. My oldest drives now so we didn't need such a big van anymore.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't seem like these vans are very popular to mod. I think I like that because it will make them look unique... Downfall is that I may end up making everything custom. Hehe. My Enty has black trim where yours had the woodgrain. I think I actually like the black better. Have you run into any Intake systems for this application?

Intake system? Like a cold air intake? LOL! No, I haven't. It's a minivan, not a Genesis Coupe.

I've landed on this van after many years of having obscure slow cars with lists of flaws that go for miles. Generally, I have found there are companies that exploit these flaws and offer an aftermarket solution.
I'm not thinking a CAI would be available (although they do make several for Dodge van applications), but I was hoping more for a fix to the classic ripped intake snorkel. A sort of RAM air solution.

I may end up trial fitting a piece of Intake piping and some hose clamps to get rid of the rigid section that is known to rip open.

My Sedona had the torn intake problem. Fortunately it was resolved under warranty. You'll probably have to rig something yourself with junkyard parts.
