Hi, My dome light on my '07 started staying on after the doors are closed. The switch is on "door" and not the on position. It DOES go off when the switch is in the off position. I removed and checked both door plungers, and they are working fine. Any suggestions on what else could be causing this, I hate to bring my car in to the dealer, so I'd much rather fix this myself.

My guess is the OFF/ON/DOOR switch is bad and needs to be replaced. Unless you want to pay for that part, I'd suggest taking it to the dealer to have it replaced underwarranty.

 

You're probably right! I cant see what else it could be. It WAS working fine, fading to off after the door was closed. Then suddenly one night I noticed it was on.
