i was in an accident on friday and i rear ended another car. my front end was damaged, smashed in and radiator was cracked. everything else looked ok. after the accident the car was running and i turned the hazard lights on. i then drove the car to the shoulder and turned the car off to exchange info.

when i got back to the car the hazards were not working any longer and there was absolutely no power to the car. i tried to turn the ignition on but couldnt because of electrical issue. I couldnt even get the transmission into neutral because shift lock would not disengage.

UPDATE: started with the fuses and relays. everything checked out. I tried jumping battery and it did not help.

I then started tracing the battery cables. One cable was lose from the impact. I tightened a bolt and power came back on!
