Default Radio Hazards and top lights not working

Hello everyone. I'm new to this so I hope I can get some good information. I have just purchased a 2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I'm having a couple of problems. The first problem i had was that my battery had died shortly after i purchased the vehicle. So i bought a fresh battery. Then sadly that battery died so I assumed that the alternator was bad so i bought an alternator and I'm now in the process of getting it put on. The next problem I noticed was that the radio, hazard lights, regular lights, and the lights near the rear view mirror were not working. So I again assumed that it may be that the fuses are out. I bought new fuses and for some reason the radio and the lights still are not working. Can anyone help me out or give me some insight into what else may be the issue?? Thank You.

The alternator is a simple replacement.
One bolt at the pivot point, under the alternator
I think it is a 10 mm or 12 mm bolt
Use same wrench or socket to loosen the other bolt on the tensioner
Then turn the screw to loosen the tensioner
Push the alternator toward the engine and then take out the first to bolts to remove alternator.
If you still have a problem with the battery and no electrical power then it might be a parasitic drain.
Yeah, you can look it up on youtube. Many videos on how to check and fix.

As for 2001 Elantra GLS, in the passenger fuse panel
(that would be USA, on the left of the steering wheel,
behind the coin box, pull it up and outward to remove coin box),
There is a relatively big black thing. Pull it out and turn it 180 degree.
Same as you would turn a combination lock. Then put it back in where you got it from.
That should return power to the radio and over head cabin lights.

Good luck to you.
