Default 2007 Santa Fe Auto 3.3 AWD Sputtering / Inconsistent Acceleration

Hello,

We've had issues with our SF for roughly 4 months or so where giving the acceleration results in hesitant / inconsistent or jerky sputtering. If it is floored it will accelerate just fine, where it is a challenge is in "normal" driving.
It was intermittent for quite a while and only occurred when the vehicle was cold. During warmer days or after a warm up it would run normally. As of a few weeks ago (we only drive on the weekends) even though it's much milder the issues have actually become worse. Engine light has never come on. So yesterday we took it in. They ran diagnostics checked oil, etc. and nothing. They experienced it albeit briefly and concluded there isn't an issue.
I'm at my wits end with this thing... 69k miles.

Thank you!
