Lots of places sell them. Ours came with it installed ('08) but we got some $8,500K off list as we got it in '09 as a leftover. I bought a hitch for my Santa Fe and installed it myself. Problem, better be strong. They are heavy to hold in place by yourself while you put in bolts you can't see.
Plus I needed a jointed socket adapter. Not for someone not familiar with car repairs.

I found me a Curt reciever on the internet for $200 and got the cargo carrier with some extra's. The hitch installed in less than 1 hour and very easy to do for my '10 Veracruz.

Good info here. Based on Fatboy's post I searched for Curt hitches and found one for $195. Now...I hope they can ship all the way to Guam!!

Default hitch

the dealer paid to have a Drawtite hitch installed, but haven't used it yet to give feedback.

Now, if I could just find step bars for my '10 Veracruz

I saw an OEM sidestep for the 2010 Veracruz at my dealer - installed and it looked SWEET! Expensive though, I think it was over $600 for the part alone.

Default Hyundai Veracruz Step Rails

Hi erictv,

Just going through some posts. Even though it's an oldie, I'm surprised that the dealer was charging $600 for it. We've had the Genuine OEM Hyundai Veracruz Step Rails up for quite some time now at $499.

Not sure if anyone out these is still wanting them, but these will fit the 2007-2012 model years. They are made of both extruded aluminum and abs plastic.

A couple things. This item SHIPS FREE and you can get an additional 10% using the coupon code "codehs".

Happy shopping!
