Can MY22 i30 Elite 10.25" Media Player play Playlists?

Can MY22 i30 Elite 10.25" Media Player play Playlists?
Hi all!
I've just bought a MY22 i30 Elite (which I get in 6 weeks) and wanting to play MP3 music from a USB flash drive instead of my old iPod-o-saurus-rex.
Can anyone with a MY22 Elite (or N-line) tell me if the 10.25" Infotainment system recognises and plays from playlists, in particular .m3u?
I have tried with the MY22 ActiveX with 8" screen. It does play MP3s from a USB drive but doesn't appear to see the .m3u playlists and I don't want to have to sift through 1000s of songs to change the selection!
It's possible it can use playlists but not .m3u?
It's likely in the manual under "multimedia system" or similar.
