Default 03 Tiburon Alarm

Does anyone know how to disconnect the alarm on an 03 Tiburon? It seems the FOB is not working and will not disarm the alarm. Can it be disconnected?

Thanks

Get the fob fixed and disarm the alarm correctly.

What's wrong with the fob?

So there is no way to disconnect the alarm? remove the fuse? Disconnect it from the horn? Until the new FOB is purchased it keeps going off.

You should be able to disarm it by putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the ON position (don't start the car) for a minute or 2.

That did not work and besides the alarm is going off for no reason. Currently the fuse has been removed and the horn disconnected. Will decide what to do from here.

That doesn't fix the problem.

Why is it going off for no reason? Are you sure the door, hood and rear hatch switches are working properly?

So then there is no proper way to disconnect the alarm? So it needs to go to a Hyundai dealer to be looked at?
