Default 2.0 Nu Engine

I know there have been some engine issues with both the 2.0 and 2.4 Theta engines, but wondering how the 1.8 and the 2.0 Nu engines have been holding up? I've done some research and can't really find anything negative, or recalls either. Anyone have any experience - good, bad, mileage or whatever?

I bought a 2017 Tucson SE last year and am enjoying it

I'm doing some research myself on the Nu 2.0 liter MPI engine in the 2018 Elantra and Forte. I may be buying one of those in June....leaning towards the Forte.
I like the idea of MPI....beautiful interior...manual transmission...
