Hi, my wife's 2017 accent has poor reception on all radio stations, I have changed the aerial over as one other site I looked at said that the booster in the base of the aerial sometimes stops working
Still having the same problem static through all of the stations, has anyone else had the same as & been able to fix it ,

Do you still have the static if the engine is not running? AM and FM stations, both? Is it the original radio the vehicle came with new?

Reception is affected by a possible antenna problem.
If you can, remove the antenna connection from the outside antenna coaxial cable and stick a piece of wire (2feet long) to the cable and see if the is static still.there.
If so, you may need to have a radio shop check the radio itself.

That cable rarely gives any problems, unless it is not all the way in on the radio itself, was anybody doing anything that the radio was moved?

In rereading your post, Are we talking about the entire radio producing static or just the headpiece?
