2019 Elantra Forward Collision Warning Malfunction
My 2019 Elantra is KMHD841CBKU824343.
I am very happy with the car. I only have one problem.
The Forward Collision Warning activates occassionally when unexpected and not necessary. I took the car into the Hyundai dealer here. They checked the radar alignment and found it was OK.
They took it for a test drive and had the same problem. They do not know what to do.
Is this a known condition? Is there an update to the software for the car to eliminate this problem?
Could it be that nearby radio transmissions from highway electronics is causing the system to activate ?
Is there a way to set the FCW to warning only as the default. Now I must set it to warning every time I start the car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

My past experience with the other dealer in town is that they just like to replace parts to increase the repair costs.
Before I try them, I wanted an opinion on whether it makes sense to replace the radar unit or not.
