AC compressor not turning on
2006 Elantra sedan. I tried the A/C the other day and the light went on, but the compressor clearly did not (no change in RPM/power etc). Could this be a fuse? If so, how do remove those big boxy fuses under the hood? I tried pulling...should I have just pulled harder?
Also there seem to be several that relate to the AC. Any help is appreciated.

A/C field coil is driven via the 10A fuse in the engine compartment fuse block.
The indicator bulb on the dash just indicates part of the circuit has power..
Test for voltage at both sides of fuse with DVOM, then test at wire to field coil... A/C sysetem needs to have enough gas to close the triple switch and allow system to run.
