This is my first Hyundai accent GL it is a 2003 ,now when i turn on the head lights the side marker lights come on which are on the front fender sides,but the ones inside the headlight assembly do not ,is this the way they are made? Usually on cars you have the blinker bulb and parking light in one bulb right.

 

You need to check your fuses and relays. Refer to your owner's manual for fuse and relay maps.
