It is fairly fool proof. You can go in and out of the shiftronic at will and the computer won't allow you to shift into a gear to low or high for the speed. Just don't rev the engine to 5000 rpm in neutral and then shift into drive.

Is it bad for your engine? No. But it's extremely bad for your transmission. Never, ever, ever do a neutral drop. You should only shift from neutral or park into gear with the engine at idle. Never higher.

You shouldn't. It's an economy car, not a race car. There's no need to do a burnout.

if u wanna do burnout and not worry about fukcing the car up, get a 04 grand prix gt for 2500 - 3500 and that thing will screach and burn out all day with no need to drop from neutral. tons of fun and cheap . chick it , here is mine. got it for 2800. 144000 miles and running better then ever. my 05 sonata is elegant, no need to dog it.

My father had a '02 GT. Bought it new and then traded it in 2 years ago on a new G8.

DO: use it to shift gears, take care of it with the specified service intervals in the owners manual

DON'T: use the shifter for a sex toy, fill with cat urine instead of the proper trans fluid, and don't eat yellow snow
