Got a stick problem.
When I go to move the lever from P to D it wont move. The button on the side will not depress fully. It will however go if I give it a push away from me and yank it quickly back then it clicksas if juping out of a plastic cog or something and goes in ok. All other gears are fine just from P to anything. This only seems to happen in hot sticky weather....A clue maybe?..... Any Ideas.

 

some vehicles have had issues with the little rod that actually make the shifter move...its usually a piece of plastic, and can wear down.
