Hello all. I'm a Noob to the site. I have a wierd question. I have a nasty,gym locker room, smell that comes on when the fan and/or A/C is on. Does anyone think the cabin filter needs changed? If so, where is it? I drive a 2005 Tucson.

Sorry to tell you this, but I have heard of this kind of thing happening when an animal gets into the ventilation system and dies. Your best bet would be to slowly take apart your ventilation system until you find the problem,

 

Wow... yeah, i have heard about that too... lol could be the dead animal.... Another thing, do you smell it when you have it on fresh air, and re-circulate? This would somewhat narrow your ventilation down a bit... If it only does it under fresh air, it will probably be just on the outside part of the ventilation system... But, if its both... then its right in the middle of it.. yikes. You could also change the cabin filter, won't hurt.
