I have been searching 2 days now to find the connector for my hand held scanner under the dash by the clutch pedal, where and what color is itis on my 1999 accent , I enven tried takiing picture s of the wires under the dash to see if it shows up, does any body know , its it just hanging or mounted?

It's not near the clutch pedal. It should be on the plastic molding on the left of the steering wheel. Just reach your hand under while sitting in the car, you should be able to feel it. It's like the easiest place to reach.

 

2 days? Maybe it's time to go to a mechanic.

 

Is it just hanging from a bunch of wires ???or is it mounted securely in a bracket see the picture I took randomly with a hand held camera under the dash I have checked these areas wuith a hand held mirror and just cant seem to locate it.?

OK now Im seeing that # 20 is way upward to the far left nearer the fuse box is that where Im at am I getting close? because there is a mass of harness in there?
