Can't Program Homelink
I'm trying to program Homelink in my '08 Santa Fe but it's not taking. I'm using the rolling code instructions, and started off with clearing out the old codes. My garage door opener was purchased last year.
What position does the ignition key have to be in? Does it matter?
The instructions state "hold button for 2 seconds." Should I hold longer?

Found that the garage door opener (not the Homelink mirror) was de-programmed and all of the codes were wiped out. Homelink working fine now.
