Does anyone know why my cooling fan will not turn off unless I unplug it. I came outside in the early morning to hear something running under my hood and realized it was the cooling fan still running from the day before. Running all night drained my battery so I unplugged the fan and charged the battery.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem before the weather gets hot here. Is it a relay problem or a thermostat problem and where is it located in the engine compartment.

sounds like a relay stuck or a short in the wiring.

 

Did someone bypass your cooling fan?
