Default excel rear struts

i jacked up my 88 hyundai excel coupe to service it and when i put it back on the ground the rear struts were siezed. i only left it hanging there for an hour or so. they worked fine before i jacked it up, so it must have just been the weight of the suspension hanging down. i have tried all amounts of heaving, jiggling, twisting etc and i cant get either of them unsiezed. any one have any ideas for unseizing them?

Default RE: excel rear struts

An 88 huh? Sounds like they're hosed. Why don't you just go out and get some new ones and put them in. I know it's not what you had planned, but it sounds like it was time to replace.
