My 2004 XG350 fuel gauge had been Not showing full when I fill the tank, Sometimes if I let the gauge get down to showing I'm almost empty I might get the gauge to show full when filling at the gas station. Been playing this game for some time now So I finally replaced the orig equipment complete Fuel Pump Assy thinking that would do the trick. That did not fix the problem the gauge will still act the same with a new Complete Fuel pump. By the way, previously I had replaced a couple Evap sensors for getting an evap code, (One was at the canister) The other was at the engine. When I installed the new pump I made sure to replace the 1/4 inch dia evap hose as well on the pump since the orig hose was 20 years old. I figured it can't hurt. SO now I am looking for someone who knows if I should be looking for some electrical problem, maybe a relay? IF anyone has any ideas on this I would be grateful. I have 179388 miles on this car, had it since it was New.
