Elantra, 2001. When I change the controls from vent to floor, it doesn't change; air still goes out the vents. Checked fuses, no help from online Hyundai service site under heaters. baffled.

 

Upon the failure to hear anything back on this forum I have taken it in to the shop. It was a stuck or inoperable damper. It wouldn't operate to reroute air from vents to floor; they will fix... $320. On the positive side, they gave me a free rental. Maybe this will help someone else. If it won't reroute, tear it apart and check for stuck damper.
