iPhone display/steering control
I have a 2011 Elantra, and since I got I have been able to use the iPod/iPhone connection with no problem. This was true with my old iPod, and it's been true since I got my new iPhone 4 several months ago. However, this weekend, the display and steering controls just stopped working. I can still play music using my iPhone, but it doesn't automatically start up when I plug it into the cable (the hybrid aux/USB cord that came with the car). When it is playing, it no longer shows the artist/song on the display - instead, it just says "Connected." And I can no longer control the track/album/etc. using either the steering wheel controls or the radio panel; I have to change songs and albums on the iPhone instead, which is unsafe and inconvenient. I can't think of anything I would have done that would have caused this change. The phone still charges when it's plugged in, and it still sounds fine, so it doesn't seem that there's anything wrong with the cable. Anyone else? Ideas?
