low rpms?

low rpms?
Oops... my parents leave me their car when they left on vacation and I think I broke it. 
It seems that you can push the gas pedal down all the way and the car is not gaining enough rpms to even shift. It seemed to work for a while using the slap shift but even now it just won't get up and go. Any ideas on what the problem could be and how can I fix it before they get back? lol
