I bought my current Accent on '14 and signed up for the extra "Platinum Wheel and Tire" extended warranty. Basically replaces rims and tires that can't be repaired due to road damage.

Anyone have this and familiar?

I.need new tires but the dealership wants an arm and leg for the same tires.

If i buy tires elsewhere, does that void the warranty? I did not see anything on my paperwork stating so.
