Default Popping noise coming from back of car?

Hey all,

I hope someone knows what this is. I've got a 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6 that has 144k miles on it (I drive a lot). For a while now, I've been hearing a popping noise that sounds like it's coming from underneath the car towards the rear. I can't pinpoint when I hear it. I mostly hear it when I'm driving slow, turning, even on a smooth road. I had all four shocks (or struts?) replaced in September because the mechanic said that's what it was. Parts alone were $800 and that did not fix it. I also sometimes hear a squeaking noise coming from the rear when I get out of the car and I only weigh 105lbs lol.

Any ideas on what this might be? Also worth noting, the steering wheel has a little vibration in it. The front end has had an alignment recently, and the car has new tires.

I would be looking at the anti roll bar drop links. suggest the vibration on the front is coincidence. try swapping the tires front to back and see if it sorts that issue.

Thanks PH. I'm going to take it to the shop in the morning and try to get this resolved.
