Reprogramming 2001 Hyundai Sonata KeyFob
Hey Guys,
So I recently bought a used 2001 Hyndai Sonata Classique, I replaced the battery in the keyfob and ever since then it no longer works with the car, the fob is transmitting still.
I want to try reprogramming it however the ETACS isn't the type that has a switch for reprogramming suggesting that the only way to reprogram the key fob is through a GDS VCI Scanning Tool.
Does anyone know where I can get one that has a reprogramming functionality? or if you know something about reprogramming the keyfob let me know on that too.

So there is no switch on the ETAC??
My 2001 Elantra had an ETAC with a switch
Don't know why the Sonata would not??
That GDS scanning tool is expensive. Hyundai dealers can usually do it for a fee.
The cheapest one that night do it is an Autel but, I would not want to spend thousands of dollars to see if it did or not.
Sorry, no help here
