Hello,

I own a 2001 hyundai accent. It's been sitting(not running)for about 8 months in a salty environment (I love on the coast).

It's running but there is a metallic grinding noise coming from the tires (I think), not the engine.

Any ideas on what this is, and what I should check, inspect, or replace.

I think it might be the wheel bearings, or the rotor.

Could be a wear indicator on the brake pads. It'll scrape or squeal when you're not applying the brakes.
