2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS. The female connection shorted on low beam headlight. The answer is to replace the entire headlight assembly. Independent garage quoting $1,100 for the part alone plus labor. My question,.... could I clip yellow and black wires. Put spade connector on them and by pass the shorted brown female connection safely? If the brown plastic connection also changes the voltage then this option is not feasible. Any input helpful.
