i have a 1992 excel and after 4-6 min after it stalls, real hard to restart but same thing happens itll it warms up then runs fine. any help will be appreciated

 

Do you know if this car has a carburetor or the multiport injection system. I think most, if not all, Excel's import into the U.S. had the injection system. I think most others were carbureted. If injected, I would first suspect the idle air control valve. If carbureted, a bad automatic choke would be the obvious problem, but I'd check for leaking vacuum hoses as well on both systems.
