Hey guys, I have a 2001 Accent GL, and lately the passenger headlight has been acting up. It will go out when on low beams, but work when on high beams. Also, it occassionally works fine. If I whack the headlight, the bulb turns back on. I know it is a wiring issue or more likely a loose connection, but I am not sure where to look for the connection. Would it be the one where the bulb connects to the plug? Any ideas and instructions as to how to get at connections would be of help. Thanks in advance.

 

well there's only one plug for the headlight. if it was recently replaced i would suggest checking if it is secure in the lamp assy. then like i said it's only one connector so you can move it and see if it acts up. hope it helps.

 

how about testing the bulb itself
