Hi all
i have an accent 1998 model and it wont start,at first i thought it was a pickup sensor.i went and bought the sensor but still does not want to start.The engine turns but does not start,what could be the problem

 

We need these 2 things for the engine to start.
Fuel and spark.
Do you know how to check for spark, if so, do you have spark when cranking the engine over? Yes/No ?

 

Crank, no start
Check spark, plug spark plug out and ground the side of plug to engine
Crank engine and check for spark
Check fuel system, spray starter fluid into the throttle in-take and crank engine
If it tries to start then fuel system issue
If both don't work then check .... waiting for an answer
