I have a 2003/4 hyundai accent 1.6 with manual trans. It died the other week and I was stranded. I was driving down the road and it started bogging down all of a sudden even when i "padded" the gas peddle to try and keep it going. That seemed to help fir a bit. I turn around to start back home and then it "bogged" down and died so I had to get a tow home.
I replaced the crank sensor, coils and plugs. Checked the firing order. It starts but immediately dies and there is a "wisp" of tiny bit of smoke from the engine compartment. I turn the switch and can hear the fuel pump come on. I went to change the fuel filter and the fuel filter is not ontop of the tank like so many forums say it is.
Any ideas? I cant keep it running long enough for my code reader....

Please help me!
