2008 hyundai accent
i was driving on the freeway when my car went out my timing belt snapped. had a new one put on and it wuld start for a little bit then die out or we would have to keep hitting the gas to have it stay alive. my mechanic is taking the head off to take it to the machine shop to see how many valves i bent. i am wondering if it will start after the machine shop?

How many miles were on the car? The belt needs replacing every 60k miles.
If the machine shop repairs the head and there is no damage to the pistons and the mechanice reinstalls the head correctly, you should be fine.
