Question 2010 Accent Mass Air Flow Sensor

Hi,

I have a 2010 Accent GLS 1.6L. My car sometimes has a hard time starting., its as if the car was flooded. The car turns over then dies. The problem goes away for a while and then returns. I have read on several threads that the Mass Air Flow(MAF) Sensor might need cleaning. I removed the Air Filter Lid and the hose going to the intake valve and I have not located the MAF. Apparently my car has a MAF, on the fuse panel it shows Fuse No. 28, 10A, has having several functions including the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

So, does my car have a Mass Air Flow sensor, and if so, where is it?

Thanks,
mfm2010acc

No, your engine uses MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, not MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. Totally different.

Get the computer scanned for trouble codes.
