I really want to get a manual SE BUT they are really hard to find. (right now I hope)
Did anyone else run into this problem? Did you end up with an auto?
I don't mind the auto but I wanted it to be as cheap as possible for me.

I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't a manual.
But I got the GLS base model, I read that less than 10% of all cars made today have a standard trans in them. So you might have to wait or try another dealer who might have one on his lot,

Well I called a couple dealers and found one that was willing to trade with another dealer. He said he could get me a 2013 Marathon Blue SE w/manual. They are asking $17,000.
Now all I have to do is get the wife to let me buy it.

Well I talked to my wife and she said NO
I was hopeing to talk her into it but to no avail.
She doesnt want a second car payment again even though we have enough going into savings each month to cover it. She said to drive my Grand Am till it dies and then we'll go from there. Either fix it or get a new car if its going to be expencive to fix. She said hopefully her car will be paid off by then. We have about a year and a half left to pay.
