Default Accent Stalling - on going issues

I have been having the constant stalling issues with my 02 accent 1.5l, 63k miles. Car would start then stall, then repeated attempts to restart failed, seems like a fuel issue. Replaced crank sensor with no luck...and finally after getting fed up with it brought it in. I just had the timing belt replaced at $300 which I expected to pay, so at the same time, had them check the stalling problem. After 6 hours, came back and told me it was the IACV ($175) and it needed an induction service. At first I didnt think that was the issue but I went and bought the part and installed it myself...2 bolts and unclip the sensor wire and 3 minutes later it was replaced, something the dealer wanted an hour labor for... I got the induction service done at $129... so the new part wouldnt be messed up with more carbon. The old part was pretty bad with carbon so it seemed correct to think this was the problem. After replacing the part it started right up and was running good. Idled a lot better and everything seemed good. 2 days later and I got to start it up and its back to the same crap it was doing before, doesnt want to start and stalled until i got it going again. I did have to stop for gas and it started right up after filling but I am a little **** that $300 later and its still not fixed.

5k miles ago I replaced the plugs and about 25k miles ago replaced the wires with aftermarkets. Dealer recommends new plugs and wires since they are not OEM... Any truth to that or is that a sales tactic?

They recommended a fuel injection cleaning, or course thats another $100... and i know its time for a fuel filter... any other thoughts as to how to fix this thing? Running out of money to throw into this...

Hi Cory, this i just a longshot and may sound a little crazy, but I had a 1980 Toyota Corolla that started stalling. The car would idle really rough and I had to keep my foot on the gas a little to stop it from stalling. At higher rpm's it ran a little rough, but ran. It ended up being a fusable link causing the problem. I know this car was an '80 and not electronicly controlled, but you never know!

Good luck!

your tps senosr could be bad, that should be located on the throttle body.
when you brought it to the dealer, did they check the fuel pressure? Could be a clogged fuel filter or it could be a bad fuel pump. Some fuel pumps go out and dont' work at all, while others will work, heat up, then stop working.
If it was your spark plugs, it wouldn't just stall, when you gave it gas in lower rpms, your should get some bogging, and miss firing.
I really dont' know what it could be, but if you havn't had those things checked, i would.
