Default Auto Trans FYI ( 05 Accent GT)

Just a tid-bit of info.....dropped by my local Hyundai dealer in Toms River, NJ (Lester Glenn). Had a bit of a concern, from a cold start, the over drive would not kick in for several miles down the road. I wondered on in and presented my concern to a tech. He mentioned the transmission will not kick into over-drive until the fluid (ATF) is warm. The trans will remain in the lower gear until such time that the temp is appropreiate enough. Just an FYI to those who have experianced the same situation.
In a just over two months of ownership & over 4600 miles, no problems to report other then the above listed issue.
Regards,
Brant

I never knew that, well that is more of incentive to let your car warm up before you go on your way.
